just so you know....
December will be UFO cleanup month for me. I will not cast on a new
project during the month of December until all current UFOs
become FOs (and with the mystery shawl I suspect that won't be a
problem!)
I have one possible loophole - if a beloved someone begs for something handknit for Christmas I will consider casting on and completing that project (this is kind of a technicality since it will become a finished object in December). So it won't be anything complicated, I can promise you.
Ripping out and restarting is allowed if it is required to bring the project to FO status.
You have been warned. Anyone else want in on this?

So what will we be casting on between now and 11/30?

Umm, I think I need a mindless project, like socks. So I'll make sure I have something like that started if I don't already.
other than that, I really want to make progress on my mystery stole. That's the biggest motivation for the ban. So I think I really will stick to just the current UFOs. There's honestly not that many, I should be able to knock everything except that mystery stole out by the end of the year.
Well, that and my declaration that I was buying no more yarn seems to be failing miserably. So I figured start with something else. ::laughter::
